DFS signs up at SEGRO’s Greenford Park

SEGRO plc (SEGRO) has today announced that it has signed up DFS, Britain’s leading sofa expert, to Greenford Park in Greenford, part of SEGRO’s wider Park Royal portfolio. DFS has signed a 10 year lease on Unit 2, a 44,000 sq ft facility, which will be used to store furniture and will form part of DFS’ national network of distribution units.
The modern facility is in a prime location at Greenford Park, which is located close to the A40 and M40, with direct access to the heart of London. DFS will be joining current occupiers on the estate; including Brompton Bikes and Sotheby’s.

Alan Holland, Business Unit Director for Greater London, SEGRO, said:
“We are delighted to welcome DFS to Greenford Park. This unit was re-let in 8 weeks after it was vacated by the previous occupant, which is testament to the fact that it is a prime logistics location for those businesses who need to be close to their customers to meet their demands.
A range of businesses from different sectors chose to locate themselves with us at Greenford Park because of its proximity to the key road networks – a real example of how location of a premises is vital to businesses.”
Alex Salden, Supply Chain Director, DFS, said:
We were looking for a new customer distribution centre in West London for some time, and this building is an excellent fit for our operation. Greenford Park is well located allowing us to reach our customers easily and efficiently.”
Savills acted for DFS.

The Greenford Park estate is part of SEGRO’s wider Park Royal portfolio.
