As part of developing the route design of the HS2 high-speed railway, HS2 are carrying out utility trial hole surveys on Victoria Road between 20 July and 3 August 2018.
The surveys will involve temporary holes being dug, which will enable HS2 to establish where utilities and services are located beneath the road surface.
The works will take place in the carriageways with one lane remaining open to traffic at all times.
