The launch of the Park Royal Design District took place at the end of September and this was a huge success. As part of London’s Design Festival 2021, a host of innovative spaces threw open their doors and a weekend of creative excellence was the result. Six signature limited edition items were created as part of ‘Made in Park Royal’ initiative – a loom kit, a door stop, a baklawa soap, a fiery hot ginger sauce, a coffee table book and handmade ceramic fruit. Whilst Park Royal is indeed known as London’s Kitchen because it feeds one third of Londoners on a daily basis, with so many creative and media industries flocking to the area, including the 146,000 sq ft Garden Film Studios some might say that they could now be known as London’s Hollywood!
