HS2 will start work to assess the retaining wall along Old Oak Common Lane. They will be carrying out a survey of the wall using a flying drone on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th August 2018. In order to facilitate they we will also be carrying out some vegetation clearance on the wall.
Assessment work to be undertaken:
- A detailed topographical survey to ascertain the height and condition of the wall for each property
- Investigation to establish the structural form of the wall and its substructure
- Removal of vegetation to allow inspection of the wall.
HS2 will be using a drone to fly above the retaining wall to capture images of its full length.
